The GP70-R muffler has always been one of our most iconic and recognizable exhaust designed and developed by SC-Project. This muffler has a 100% racing DNA, with aggressive look and sound without compromise especially in this de-cat version dedicated to the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
Manufactured of ultralight titanium and with a full titanium de-cat link pipe, this product ensures an astonishing weight reduction of 80% (-5,7 kg if compared to the OEM exhaust), contributing to improved vehicle dynamics. Performance gains are remarkable, with up to +13,2 hp at 9500 rpm and +9,5 Nm of torque at 9500 rpm, along with a consistent enhancement in power and torque delivery across the low and mid-range.
Everything has been developed to grant a full racing experience: through the exclusive outlet, the sound of the 1000 cc 4 cylinder will be improved by deep, aggressive tones, with 118 dB at 6500 rpm with dB-killer installed and a louder sound of 123 dB at 6500 rpm without dB-killer.
Each unit is finished to the highest standards, featuring handcrafted TIG welds that emphasize the product’s technical refinement. The inlet of this muffler has a generous diameter of 70 mm and it’s CNC machined in full titanium to offer an absolutely perfect installation. These details are the result of years of experience in the most challenging world championships, highlighting the strong racing pedigree of this product even more.
An exclusive aluminium riveted plate with 3D-embossed SC-Project logo completes the silencer body, identical to those used in our Racing Department components.
To further refine the aesthetics of the Ninja, the kit includes a premium carbon fibre heat shield. The installation of the kit is completely plug and play and it’s totally reversible. ECU remapping is recommended to obtain the best performance.
Together with this kit, the purchase of SC-Project ECR+ (Electronic Catalytic Remover) is strongly recommended. With the removal of the catalytic converter, the bike’s ECU could generate an error. This device has been developed by SC-Project to correctly manage the removal of the catalytic converter. Extremely easy to install, it needs to be connected to the OBD socket and it will automatically manage the error, safely restoring the correct functionality of the on-board electronic system. You will find it in the related products section.
